all accounts, the 18th Ölüdeniz Air Games Festival was amazing.
The festival took place in the Ölüdeniz District of Fethiye, Muğla. Pilots from the Turkish Aeronautical Association flew overhead in microlights and paramotors, while there were base-jumping, skydiving, wingsuit and acrobatic displays, that caused spectators to collectively hold their breath. The paragliding pilots took off from Babadağ at an altitude of 1965 metres, one of the most popular paragliding centres in the world, while being watched by the large crowd that had gathered on Belcekız Beach.
Tuğlu, a member of the festival organization committee said that the festival was an innovative and exciting event for the aviation world. He added that they were very pleased with the interest being shown in the festival, which had made a significant economic contribution to Fethiye.
Tomas Lednik, an acrobatic pilot from the Czech Republic, said that he had been participating in the festival for years and that the current one was even more sensational than the previous ones. Ledvik pointed out that the pilots who took part demonstrated flying of exceptional quality and the organization was perfect.
